We have never made so many inflatable beanstalks! During October we made three for Jack and the Beanstalk pantomimes – one for Covent Garden, one for The Lyric in Hammersmith and one for a theatre in Newcastle on Tyne.
As you can see the inflatable beanstalks are really big, varying in size from 20 feet high to nearly 40 wide! We make them all ourselves and Tim hand paints them to the client’s preferred colourway.
ABC inflate the beanstalks with a fan blower so they can be inflated quickly for quick scene changes. We also fit zips in the base so they can deflate even more quickly – totally fuss free. They have proved so successful that clients keep them and use them again years later. Watch out for them in future stage productions of Jack and the Beanstalk!
